Oral suspension
An anthelmintic oral suspension indicated for the treatment and control of liver fluke, giant liver fluke and conical fluke in cattle.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 ˚C and protect from light.
COMPOSITION
Each 100 mℓ contains
Oxyclozanide 3,40 g/100 mℓ
Excipient q.s. ad. 100 mℓ
WARNINGS
- Withdrawal time for meat and offal: 14 days.
- Zero withdrawal time for milk.
- Do not use contrary to “Directions for Use”.
- Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
- Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
PRECAUTIONS
- Do not contaminate natural water sources (rivers, ponds, dams, etc) with the container or residual contents of the bottle.
- Dispose of any drug containers and residual contents in a safe manner according to regulations on disposal management.
- Do not re-use empty bottles.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.

For oral administration only.
Shake well before use.
DOUVISTOME is ready to use with standard drenching equipment.
Animals should be weighed before treatment.
Do not under-dose.
Correct drenching technique should be used.
Where there is a large variation in size within the group, dose rates should be based on the label directions for each body mass range. Check accuracy of drenching equipment regularly.
Cleanse and rinse drenching equipment thoroughly immediately after use.
DOSAGE
Do not deviate from these dosage rates unless recommended by a consulting veterinarian.
- Cattle: 10 mg Oxyclozanide/kg body mass

EFFICACY
Highly effective (> 90 % effective) against adult liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica) and giant liver fluke (Fasciola gigantica) in cattle.
Highly effective (> 90 % effective) against immature and adult conical fluke (Calicophoron spp.) in cattle.
